WHO VS WHOM


- Use WHOM when referring to the object of the sentence:

Ex: This is the man whom I wanted to speak

- Change to question: “Who did I want to speak with?”

“I wanted to speak with HIM”



- Use WHO to refer to the subject of a verb

EX: I really hate the guy who stole my girlfriend

- Change to question: “Who stole my girlfriend?”

“HE stole my girlfriend”
